The Oakville real estate market continued to show resilience throughout April 2026, with increased buyer activity, stronger sales volume, and rising average home prices compared to the same period last year.

The average sold price reached $1,641,510, representing a 20% increase year-over-year. A total of 266 properties sold during the month, while new listings reached 775 and active inventory climbed to 1,069 homes.

While inventory levels continue to increase, demand remains healthy for well-positioned properties, particularly in Oakville's luxury and family home segments.

One of the most noticeable trends this spring has been the increase in available inventory.

With more homes coming to market, buyers have greater choice and are taking more time to evaluate their options. Average days on market increased to 30.4 days, reflecting a more balanced environment than the highly competitive conditions seen in previous years.
